The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dan Smith.

That was a close round but I would say that Piotr Nawrocki will probably get the nod.

Nawrocki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smith sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nawrocki somewhat.

Smith cracks a nice hook into Nawrocki's ribs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nawrocki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Smith manages to get himself to full guard.
