Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Sosha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Bubbles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sosha comes to the cage accompanied by Hysteria-Muse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Sosha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky Bubbles!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bubbles cracks Sosha with an open hand slap.
Sosha has a takedown stuffed.
Bubbles lands a really nice looking cross but Sosha seems unphased.
Bubbles throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sosha stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sosha takes one on the button.
Sosha bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bubbles throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bubbles getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bubbles scores with a sloppy right hand. Sosha should have avoided that one.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bubbles throws a nice inside leg kick.
Sosha has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sosha there as he acknowledges the shot.
A jab lands there for Bubbles.
Bubbles connects with the punch.
Bubbles lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sosha tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bubbles sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sosha somewhat.
Bubbles scores with the left hand. Sosha knows he should have avoided that one.

Sosha is rocked!
Bubbles has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Sosha checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Sosha shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bubbles sprawls well. Bubbles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sosha gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Sosha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bubbles throws a sloppy head kick and Sosha moves out of range easily.
Sosha moves out of range of the body kick from Bubbles.
Bubbles misses with a low kick.
A lazy left from Bubbles finds it's target.
Bubbles lands a jab.
Bubbles throws a leg kick but Sosha sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Bubbles misses with a body shot.
Bubbles bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sosha's head backwards.
Ricky Bubbles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sosha has his takedown stuffed
letting Bubbles counter with a right hand.

Sosha gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bubbles counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bubbles thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ricky Bubbles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sosha closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bubbles's guard.
Sosha is breathing heavily.
Sosha stopping the sweep attempt from Bubbles.
Bubbles is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bubbles is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bubbles trying to control from half guard but Sosha is working away.
Sosha avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bubbles.
Bubbles is pressing down on Sosha's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sosha is holding on for now.
Bubbles uses his free foot to push down on Sosha's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sosha.
Bubbles pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Sosha is looking to improve his position but Bubbles isn't that keen on the idea.
Bubbles trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Bubbles scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Sosha?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sosha really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sosha is bucking up trying to escape but Bubbles cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oh Sosha is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bubbles lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Sosha! Bubbles sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Sosha and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
