Li is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tourniquet by Evanescence. Jet Li has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dan Ranger's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranger throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dan Ranger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li misses with a head kick.
Li tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ranger is able to avoid easily.
Li on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Li fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ranger.
Some wild striking there from Ranger.
Ranger avoids the head kick by Li.
Ranger looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Li scores with a kick to the midsection.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Li. Ranger shrugs it off though.
Ranger fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ranger misses with a few strikes there.
Ranger throws a right and a left that Li avoids nicely.
Ranger cracks Li with a good jab.
Li slips a jab and a cross from Ranger.

Ranger blocks a head kick by Li.
Ranger throws a looping overhand right but Li ducks down to avoid it.
Ranger is breathing heavily.
No joy there for Li, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Li tries a head kick but it misses.
Li pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Li looks for the body kick but Ranger saw that one coming.
Ranger takes a kick to the side of the head.

Ranger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice uppercut there from Li.
Ranger looks to throw the jab but Li is out of range.
Li has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ranger finds it's way round the side to connect with Li's head.
Li connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Li ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ranger moves away.
Li fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ranger.

Li throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Li lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Li scores with a leg kick.
Crunch! Li slams his shin into Ranger's torso.
Ranger takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Li with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ranger ducks under a wild hook from Li.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Whack! Li lands a heavy head kick that drops Ranger. The ref tackles Li to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ranger was done.
