Kanen has chosen BURN ONE DOWN as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samor Kanen!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanen lands a nice looking body kick.
Kanen tries to bum rush Ander with a series of wild strikes but Ander uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kanen connects with a crisp jab.
Kanen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ander sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kanen throws a leg kick which misses Ander's front leg but catches the back leg as Ander tries to avoid it.
Kanen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ander was well out of range. Poor timing from Kanen.
Kanen lands a glancing blow to the side of Ander's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ander is looking to clinch but Kanen is avoiding it.
Ander throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kanen.
Kanen moves out of range of the body kick from Ander.
A jab lands there for Kanen.
Kanen missing with a left hand there. Ander was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ander checks a low kick from Kanen.
Kanen tries to bum rush Ander with a series of wild strikes but Ander uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kanen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kanen avoids the head kick by Ander.
Ander throws a head kick but Kanen moves out of range.
Ander misses with a kick to the body
letting Kanen counter with a right hand.

Ander is rocked!
Kanen lands a brutal uppercut that launches Ander off his feet! Ander tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Samor Kanen really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Conviction logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
