The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jebut slips a jab and a cross from Golonka.
Golonka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jebut swivels and escapes.

Golonka goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jebut rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Golonka's guard! Nice work there by Jebut!
Jebut looking to sit in guard and control but Golonka gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Golonka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jebut swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jebut might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Golonka wants to work for an arm triangle but Jebut is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jebut in particular looking to stall.

Marek Jebut has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Golonka is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Golonka swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jebut is now in Golonka's guard. A big mistake from Golonka there, giving up the dominant position!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Irus Golonka hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Marek Jebut is winning the standup battle so far.

Jebut looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jebut looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Golonka with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jebut seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Golonka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
