Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Austin Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Katsuji Rikidozan!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rikidozan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Anderson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Anderson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Anderson showed some decent athleticism there.
Anderson thows a huge punch but Rikidozan dodges it nicely.
Rikidozan is trying to stand up here but Anderson is controlling him well.
Anderson not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Anderson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rikidozan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson looks to land a strike but Rikidozan avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Anderson throws an elbow that misses. Rikidozan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Anderson's guard. Nice move by Rikidozan!
Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Rikidozan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Austin Anderson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Anderson thows a body shot but no joy.
Anderson moves to clinch but Rikidozan breaks away
and Rikidozan counters with a nice kick to the body.

Anderson feints and as Rikidozan raises his hands in defense, Anderson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Anderson throws a strike but Rikidozan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Anderson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Anderson tries to get out of the position.

Rikidozan gets to his feet - Anderson follows without any prompting.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rikidozan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rikidozan misses with a wild combination.
Rikidozan explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Katsuji Rikidozan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rikidozan moves into the clinch successfully.
Rikidozan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Rikidozan lands a nice uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Rikidozan scores with a nice short uppercut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rikidozan.

Rikidozan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rikidozan tries to clinch
and Anderson counters with a straight right hand.
Rikidozan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Anderson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rikidozan. That one must have hurt.
Anderson is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rikidozan feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Anderson collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Katsuji Rikidozan!
A very excited looking Katsuji Rikidozan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
