Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuya Inoue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chung Quela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inoue comes to the cage accompanied by Mother. Quela has chosen Buchikek as his entrance music. Chung Quela will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quela throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Inoue. That's going to slow Quela down.
Quela looks to score with a jab to the body but Inoue is just out of range.
Quela misses the jab.
Inoue fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Quela thows a body shot but no joy.
Inoue takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Quela isn't going anywhere.
Inoue is looking to take a break and control but Quela is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Inoue is trying to ground and pound but Quela uses the momentary lack of control by Inoue to regain half guard.

Inoue seems to be working for a kimura but Quela defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quela regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Inoue.
Quela can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Inoue controls the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Inoue accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Inoue passes into side control, despite Quela's attempt to control the position.
Inoue throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Inoue creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Quela sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Quela is looking to reverse the position.
Inoue is trying to move to mount but Quela reverses beautifully and ends up in Inoue's guard.
Quela would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Inoue working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Quela doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Quela manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Inoue fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Quela checks it well.
Quela leaves Inoue with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Inoue or perhaps it was just good defense by Quela which made him look bad.
Quela stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quela wants it to stay on the feet.

Inoue shoots in looking for a takedown. Quela tries to sprawl out of it but Inoue keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quela manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Quela misses with a hook. Inoue ducked under it nicely.

Quela throws a lazy right hand but Inoue sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Quela connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Inoue momentarily.
Inoue throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quela's waist but Quela gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Inoue off to one side.

Quela is pressed up against the cage. Inoue has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Quela down to the mat. Quela avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Quela lands a head kick. Inoue smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Quela throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Inoue throws the kick towards the body but Quela avoids it.
Inoue shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Quela but Quela pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Quela does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
