Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jori Jujipallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Nut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jujipallo comes into the arena with In Your Face by Children of Bodom blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nut looks to land a body kick but Jujipallo moved away.
Nut connects with an inside leg kick.
Jujipallo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Nut misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jujipallo.
Nut fails to land with a series of punches.

Nut stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nut wants it to stay on the feet.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nut, as that shot connected.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nut goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Nut does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Sam Nut is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nut connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jujipallo. Jujipallo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nut throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Jujipallo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Nut is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jujipallo off and has taken his back!
Jujipallo tries to roll but Nut sticks to his back.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Nut controlling the positon.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
I really don't envy Jujipallo right now.
Nut is riding his opponent, not letting Jujipallo buck him off.
Nut tries to get the hooks in deep but Jujipallo pushed the leg off.
Nut really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Jujipallo.
Let's hope that Nut has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Nut has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Nut looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jujipallo is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jujipallo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nut is proving hard to escape from.

Nut really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jujipallo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jujipallo wants to improve his position but Nut is controlling well.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sam Nut was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Sam Nut is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Nut fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jujipallo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Well Nut has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
