Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bad Idea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Licud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Idea might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Boss of All Bosses . Alex Licud is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Idea shoots in but no luck this time.
Licud throws a hook to the side of Idea's head but Idea sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Licud jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Idea tries to clinch there but Licud circles away.
Licud looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Idea trying to hold on to Licud's head to control him but Licud postures up.

Licud thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Idea's head.

Licud shoots in for a double leg but Idea sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Licud throws a lazy right hand but Idea sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Idea checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Idea ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Idea feints a jab promting Licud to slip. Idea then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Licud slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Licud cracks Idea with a good jab.
Idea ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Idea is looking to clinch but Licud is avoiding it.
Licud shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Licud looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Idea is fending him off so far but Licud persists. Nope, Idea circles away and we're back to standing.
Bad Idea has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Licud.

Idea is pressed up against the cage. Licud has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Idea down to the mat. Idea avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Idea throws a front kick that sends Licud stumbling back into the cage.

Licud throws out a loose jab but Idea uses good head movement to avoid it.

That was a close round but I would say that Bad Idea will probably get the nod.
