Silva 's entrance music is Rev Theory - Light It Up . A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying King's choice of entrance music: Armor King. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
King wants to clinch.

King gets the takedown into side control.
King is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Silva 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Silva tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but King presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Silva is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! King is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! King has escaped and now he's on top!

Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. King gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

King slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
King is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and King defends well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Armor King will probably get the nod.

King darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

King decides to stand and escape the position.

King drives through with a takedown into Silva 's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Silva is working an open guard so King takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Silva lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and King has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from King and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

King throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silva tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. King is in Silva 's guard.

King stands up from guard. Let's bang!

King fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Silva to the ground. King is now in Silva 's guard.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around King's waist but King gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

King wants to finish this one by submission but Silva is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from King.
King prevents Silva from getting the reversal.
BOOM! King connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The referee warns Silva that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Armor King decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
