Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Viktor Belfort!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dark Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman misses with a takedown attempt - Belfort sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Belfort throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Coleman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Coleman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Belfort lands a nice shot that snaps Coleman's head back.
A looping hook to the body misses from Belfort. Coleman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Belfort displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Coleman.
Viktor Belfort has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dark Coleman.
Belfort scores with the left hand. Coleman knows he should have avoided that one.
Belfort throws a right and a left that both miss.
Coleman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Belfort knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coleman on the ground.

Coleman drops back looking for a leg! Belfort is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Belfort manages to kick Coleman off! Coleman jumps back into Belfort's guard.

Coleman postures up in Belfort's guard and throws a big left but Belfort blocks it.

Coleman lands a couple of digs.
Belfort wants to stand but Coleman is controlling the position.
Coleman keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Belfort's head.

Coleman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Coleman slips nicely into half guard.
Coleman passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Belfort!
Coleman lands a big elbow.
Belfort in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Belfort sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Coleman seems to be looking for submissions.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Coleman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Belfort preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Coleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Belfort with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Coleman winds up and cracks Belfort with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Coleman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Belfort doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Coleman.

Coleman maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Belfort could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Coleman has cracked it and Belfort is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Coleman!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dark Coleman!
An out of breath Dark Coleman thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
