Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Leonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Caschera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonov comes to the cage accompanied by Red october. Caschera has chosen Crimson King by Demons & Wizards limited edition as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Caschera!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Caschera fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Caschera misses the jab.
Caschera gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Caschera avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Leonov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Caschera counter with a right hand.
Caschera misses with a takedown attempt - Leonov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Caschera moves away from the strike by Leonov.
Caschera throws a hook but Leonov avoids it easily.
Leonov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Caschera is trying to improve his position.
Leonov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Caschera knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Leonov is putting a hurting on Caschera here, landing some big shots from side control.
Caschera is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Leonov is controlling him well.
Leonov wants to control but Caschera is keeping him busy.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Caschera wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Caschera is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Leonov has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Leonov misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leonov lands a decent elbow from side control.
Caschera is working to avoid the ground and pound but Leonov connects with a decent elbow.

Leonov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Caschera keeps working.

Leonov decides to stand up, so the ref orders Caschera to his feet.
Leonov blocks a jab.
Leonov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Caschera.

Leonov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Leonov lands with a good body shot.

Leonov lands a nice looking body shot.
Leonov lands an overhand right.
That has opened up Max Caschera's cut even more.
Vadim Leonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leonov instigates a clinch.
Leonov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Caschera has him pressed against the cage.

Leonov lands a nice shot to the body.
Leonov lands an uppercut.
Leonov tries to work over Caschera's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Leonov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Leonov connects with the punch.
The cut above Max Caschera's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Leonov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Leonov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Caschera gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Caschera landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Leonov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Caschera regains guard immediately.
Caschera has momentary wrist control but Leonov slips an elbow through the middle.
Leonov scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Leonov throwing strikes but missing.
Caschera is working an open guard so Leonov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Leonov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Leonov tries to close the distance and clinch but Caschera swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Max Caschera's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Horrible takedown by Leonov or perhaps it was just good defense by Caschera which made him look bad.
Caschera tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leonov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Leonov darts in and clinches Caschera up against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Leonov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Caschera can do to turn this around?
Caschera gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Leonov.
Leonov lands with a left to the head.
Max Caschera's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Leonov tries to throw a body punch but Caschera avoids it by throwing Leonov back against the cage.
Caschera on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Leonov breaks the clinch.
Leonov closes the distance and pushes Caschera back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Leonov comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Max Caschera's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Vadim Leonov!
Our winner, Vadim Leonov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
