Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Slyker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard comes to the cage accompanied by Immortality by Pearl Jam. Slyker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by It's Amazing by Kanye West. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slyker throws a left and a right that both miss
and Howard counters with a left to the body.
Slyker is trying hard to land a takedown here. Howard sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Howard fails to land with a series of punches.
Slyker takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Cain Slyker has been cut.

Dwayne Howard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Slyker.
Slyker tries to clinch up but Howard circles away and keeps his distance.
Slyker is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Howard moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
