The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White fails with a takedown attempt.
Gustin getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
White closes the distance looking to clinch
and Gustin counters with a left to the body.
Gustin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from White.
Gustin throws a jab when White was well out of range.
Gustin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. White sees it coming and avoids it easily.
White shoots in for a takedown but Gustin shows good takedown defense.
White fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gustin avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason White. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gustin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. White sees it coming and avoids it easily.
White is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gustin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
White tries to clinch but Gustin moves away
and Gustin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Gustin throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease.
A swing and a miss from Gustin.
White shoots in and drives through. Gustin sprawls well.
White fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gustin lands a nice looking body shot.
Gustin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
White takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gustin scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Jason White has been cut.
White throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
White tries to clinch but Gustin moves away
and Gustin counters with a body kick that stops White in his tracks momentarily.
White is breathing heavily.
White closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Melvin Gustin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gustin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

White is rocked!
White fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Oh White is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

White needs to keep his hands up - Gustin had a free shot at his head there.
White gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gustin counters with a huge left! White is in big trouble! He's backing up but Gustin isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save White from any more damage. A dominating finish by Gustin!
