Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Granite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Sykloni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Granite kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Brokencyde - Get Crunk. Sykloni is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by David Arkenstone - Carrickfergus. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sykloni tries a head kick but it misses.
Granite throws the kick towards the body but Sykloni avoids it.

Granite is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Granite is stalling here. Sykloni is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Granite seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Sykloni has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Sykloni does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Granite shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sykloni sprawls well. Sykloni wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Granite gets slowly back to his feet.

Some bone on bone action there as Granite checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Granite shoots in looking for a takedown but Sykloni manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Granite's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Good leg kick by Sykloni there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sykloni bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Sykloni displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Granite.
Granite sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Sykloni feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Granites jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
