The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergasmarchi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pitts throws a right and a left that Bergasmarchi avoids nicely.
Pitts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bergasmarchi's waist but Bergasmarchi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pitts off to one side.
Pitts misses with the combination.

Bergasmarchi gets a double leg takedown into Pitts's guard.
Bergasmarchi postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Bergasmarchi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Pitts is trying to keep Bergasmarchi in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bergasmarchi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pitts dives on top into guard.
Bergasmarchi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pitts!
