Cave lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Cave swings for the body but Valanciunas moves out of range.
Cave throws the left hand but Valanciunas avoids the punch easily.

No joy there for Cave, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Nick Cave seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valanciunas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cave manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Valanciunas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Valanciunas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Cave lands a left and a right that send Valanciunas crashing to the mat, dazed. Cave thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Valanciunas is rocked!
Cave drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Valanciunas's head, knocking him out cold! Cave is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
