Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Voda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voda's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lamb of God - Walk With Me In Hell. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeremy Voda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mr White!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White throws a leg kick but Voda sees it coming and moves out of range.
Voda loads up on a big right hand but White slips the punch.
Voda misses with a series of wild punches.
White throws a head kick that misses.
Voda throws a right and a left that both miss.

Voda changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. White looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
White is being controlled here.
White tries to buck Voda off but Voda is having none of it.
Voda working away.

Voda tries for a kimura but White is defending well.
White can't do much from the bottom here.

Voda is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but White is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Voda's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Voda controlling the action here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Voda bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Voda tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Voda has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Voda is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt White will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
White is working to avoid the ground and pound but Voda connects with a decent elbow.
White can't do much from the bottom here.

Voda seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jeremy Voda.

Voda lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively.
White slaps away a takedown attempt from Voda, before circling back to the center of the mat.
White connects with a leg kick. Voda looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by White.
A bone on bone clash there as Voda blocks the leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
White tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Voda connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between White's hands.
Voda fails to land with a series of punches.
White scores with the left hand. Voda knows he should have avoided that one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sloppy strikes from White. Those never looked like landing.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeremy Voda will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

White uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Voda has time to react.

White fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mr White seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Voda on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
White tries to work over Voda's front leg with a kick but Voda checks it.
White connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Voda takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Voda uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before White has time to react.

Voda fails with a takedown attempt.
Voda takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Voda stuffs the takedown.
Nice body kick there by White.
White tries for a takedown but Voda sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jeremy Voda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr White.
White bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Voda stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from White.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Voda drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Voda controls from within his opponent's guard.
Voda trying to control but White is working from the bottom.
White is trying to control the position but Voda postures up.
Voda wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
White wants to sweep here but Voda controlling him for the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jeremy Voda.
White is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Voda lands with a right hand.
Voda swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
White will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Voda shoots in for a double leg but White sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

White is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Voda's half guard.

Jeremy Voda overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Voda swivels though and keeps the full guard.
White must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Voda throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Voda is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
White working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Voda's head.
White loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Voda has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but White can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mr White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

That kick from White tenderised Voda's leg. Voda is trying to keep his angry face on.

Some bone on bone action there as Voda checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Voda tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but White swivels and escapes.
Voda throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around White's waist but White gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Voda off to one side.
Voda is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Voda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but White does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Voda is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so White is just riding it out for now. Voda eventually gives up the hold.

Voda is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

White has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Voda is working away from the top position though.

White is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
White looking to hit a scissor sweep but Voda is one step ahead there.

White avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Voda.

Voda is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and White defends it well.
White moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Voda wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.
Voda stopping the sweep attempt from White.
Voda passes easily into side control. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
White wants to control but Voda postures up.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Mr White.
I think White has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
