Overeem misses with a few strikes there.

Overeem gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Calvancante to score an easy takedown into full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Calvancante drops back looking for a leg! Overeem is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Overeem manages to kick Calvancante off! Calvancante jumps back into Overeem's guard.
Calvancante advances position into side control!

Calvancante is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Overeem knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Overeem knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Calvancante on the ground.
Calvancante advances to mount.
Overeem tries to control Calvancante's body but Calvancante pushes him off. Overeem squirms to his side and now Calvancante has his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Overeem is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
