Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cees Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jakasashii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cees Gunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Jakasashii!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jakasashii looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jakasashii has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gunn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jakasashii.

Gunn fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jakasashii fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gunn sprawls well initially but Jakasashii persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Jakasashii drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gunn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jakasashii has Gunn in his guard.

Gunn ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cees Gunn.
I think Jakasashii has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
