Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Christopoulos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mica Makaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makaaja comes into a darkened arena with his song building. BassLovers United - I Can't Dance kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jason Christopoulos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mica Makaaja!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christopoulos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Christopoulos!
It looks like Mica Makaaja has been cut.
Christopoulos fails to land the takedown.
Christopoulos throws out a loose jab but Makaaja uses good head movement to avoid it.
Makaaja will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Makaaja looks for a takedown but Christopoulos sprawls well.
Christopoulos swings widly with a right hand
and Makaaja counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Christopoulos's guard now.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Christopoulos is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Makaaja tries to free his leg and advance position but Christopoulos is retaining full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Makaaja trying to control the position from guard on top but Christopoulos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Christopoulos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Makaaja defends well.
Makaaja sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Christopoulos looking to hit a scissor sweep but Makaaja is one step ahead there.
Makaaja wants to control from the top but Christopoulos keeps moving.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mica Makaaja wasn't active enough on the ground.
Christopoulos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Makaaja's waist but Makaaja gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Christopoulos off to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Christopoulos misses with a left hand
and Makaaja counters with a shoot takedown. Christopoulos fights it but they end up in guard.
Makaaja drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Christopoulos manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Makaaja has Christopoulos in his guard.
Makaaja looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Christopoulos is defending well. Makaaja quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Christopoulos has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Makaaja celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
