Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Lakanik!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha misses with a jab to the body
and Lakanik counters with a good low kick that Rocha was not able to check.
Rocha shoots in but no luck this time.
Lakanik scores with a push kick.
Lakanik pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rocha.
Lakanik with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Lakanik connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rocha momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rocha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lakanik's waist but Lakanik gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rocha off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Demian Rocha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lakanik wants to clinch.
Lakanik lands a head kick. Rocha smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Rocha shoots in but Lakanik avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lakanik throws a wild body kick that Rocha sees coming a mile off.
Rocha shoots for a double leg takedown but Lakanik sprawls well. He's pushed Rocha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lakanik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rocha closes the distance and clinches up with Lakanik, looking for a takedown. Rocha pushes Lakanik against the cage but Lakanik circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rocha is breathing heavily.
Lakanik connects with a jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lakanik.
Lakanik connects with a high kick.
A solid body kick from Lakanik.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lakanik gets in close and instigates a clinch.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rocha. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Rocha swings wildly with an uppercut but Lakanik uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lakanik connects with a nasty looking knee right to Rocha's face.
Oh Rocha is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lakanik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Lakanik.
Rocha looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lakanik is fending him off so far but Rocha persists. Nope, Lakanik circles away and we're back to standing.
Look low, kick high! Lakanik uses the oldest trick in the book to send Rocha tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Lakanik is absolutely delighted - when Rocha wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
