The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Il delivers a nice body kick.

Il moves into the clinch.

Il breaks the clinch.
Il throws a leg kick which misses Longwe's front leg but catches the back leg as Longwe tries to avoid it.

Il rushes Longwe and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Il prevents Longwe from breaking the clinch.
Il works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Il escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Longwe has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Il.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Longwe takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Bwanali Longwe has been cut.
Good standup being displayed there by Il as he connects with a hook.
Il digs a good hook to Longwe's body.
Il throws a nice outside leg kick.
Longwe is breathing heavily.
Il looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Il rushes Longwe and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Il lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Il scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Il working Longwe over with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Il works his way into full mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Il in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Longwe is rocked!
Il looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Longwe covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
