Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Sebastien Veron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Yackey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yackey has chosen Ante Up as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yackey avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Veron throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yackey stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Juan Sebastien Veron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yackey gets caught flat footed, as Veron shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Yackey can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Veron controls the pace.
Veron cracks Yackey with a solid left hand.

Veron feints and then cracks Yackey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yackey down.

Yackey has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Veron after a bit of a struggle.

Veron tightens his grip and picks Yackey up, before dumping him to the ground. Yackey manages to land in guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Veron is nestled in close to Yackey, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
