Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joaquin Fortunado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Geissen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fortunado kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stairway to Heaven. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joaquin Fortunado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shawn Geissen!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geissen avoids the body shot from Fortunado.
Geissen connects with a single shot there.
Fortunado goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Geissen sizes up Fortunado with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Geissen throws out a loose jab but Fortunado uses good head movement to avoid it.
Geissen cracks Fortunado with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Joaquin Fortunado has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice shot lands for Fortunado.
Fortunado blocks a low kick nicely.
Nice defenses there by Fortunado.
Fortunado takes the fight into the clinch.
Geissen is trying to force a seperation but Fortunado has the dominant position.
Geissen breaks the clinch.
Geissen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fortunado throws a leg kick
and Geissen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Geissen on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Fortunado ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Geissen moves away.
Geissen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fortunado defending well as Geissen loads up on a big left hand.
Fortunado takes a swing at Geissen's ribcage but misses.
Fortunado swings for the body but Geissen moves out of range.
Geissen circles away from the clinch attempt
and Geissen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Fortunado! Geissen lets Fortunado back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Fortunado is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fortunado misses with a low kick.
Fortunado misses with an uppercut. Geissen saw that one coming.
Geissen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fortunado. Fortunado obviously looking to wear him down.
Fortunado drops Geissen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Geissen looks back up at him and smiles so Fortunado waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Geissen is rocked!
It looks like Shawn Geissen has been cut.
Geissen throws a shot from downtown. Fortunado moves away and avoids it.
Geissen is still on wobbly legs! Can Fortunado finish him?
Fortunado connects with the punch.
Geissen scores with a punch to the head.
Oh Fortunado is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Geissen seems to have recovered his senses.
Fortunado looks to score with a jab to the body but Geissen is just out of range.
Fortunado seems to have got his legs back now.
Fortunado lands a lovely overhand right.
Fortunado misses with a kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fortunado throws a nice looking combination but Geissen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fortunado wants to slow Geissen down by chopping away at his legs.
Fortunado throws a sloppy head kick and Geissen moves out of range easily.
Fortunado on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Geissen. Geissen obviously looking to wear him down.
Geissen avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Geissen blocks the body kick.
Geissen throws the kick towards the body but Fortunado avoids it.
Geissen avoids the body shot from Fortunado.
Geissen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fortunado. That did some damage!
Fortunado looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Fortunado looks to land a right hand but Geissen moved out of range.
Geissen cracks Fortunado's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Fortunado slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Geissen can do further damage! This one is done, son!
