Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kamil Kotkiewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lungdumtu Amah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotkiewicz comes into the arena with Papa Roach - Last Resort blaring out of the sound system. Lungdumtu Amah has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kamil Kotkiewicz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lungdumtu Amah!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Amah enables Kotkiewicz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Amah manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Amah is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Amah is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kotkiewicz is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kotkiewicz stands and steps away. Amah gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The fight stays on the outside here - Amah looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Amah doesn't manage to clinch there - Kotkiewicz circles away.

Kotkiewicz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Amah, pushing him back against the cage.

Amah looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kotkiewicz is in trouble now - Amah has advanced to mount!

Kotkiewicz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Amah wants to take Kotkiewicz's back here but Kotkiewicz is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Lungdumtu Amah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kotkiewicz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Amah defends it well.

Amah is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kotkiewicz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kotkiewicz's back!

Amah is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kotkiewicz knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kotkiewicz for a finish.

Kotkiewicz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Amah sprawls well initially but Kotkiewicz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Amah is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kotkiewicz defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close second round but Lungdumtu Amah will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Amah is in a horrible position here. Kotkiewicz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Kamil Kotkiewicz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
