Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Dillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes to the cage accompanied by 3 little pigs. Dillan has chosen Kick Ass as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeremy Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Dillan!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins rushes Dillan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jenkins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jenkins moves out of range of the strikes.
Jenkins slips a jab from Dillan.
Jenkins ducks under a wild hook from Dillan.

Jenkins has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dillan is looking to control Jenkins's arms but Jenkins gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dillan has his back to the cage.
Dillan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Dillan is looking to take this one to the mat.
Dillan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Jenkins with a knee to the head.
Jenkins misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dillan.
Jenkins is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Dillan is looking to control Jenkins's arms but Jenkins gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dillan has his back to the cage.

Dillan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Jenkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dillan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Jenkins wants to work for an arm triangle but Dillan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dillan wants to improve his position but Jenkins is controlling well.
Jenkins trying to control from half guard but Dillan is working away.
Jenkins works his foot free and advances to mount.
Dillan is wriggling around trying to escape.

Jenkins looking to secure an arm triangle but Dillan defends it well.

Jenkins looking to control but Dillan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dillan wants to hold on but Jenkins pushes him away.
Jenkins scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Jenkins is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Dillan is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jenkins trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Jenkins pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Jenkins lands a big shot there that rocks Dillan but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jenkins with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jenkins avoids the attempt from Dillan to control.

Jenkins landing strikes from the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dillan is bucking up trying to escape but Jenkins cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
BOOM! Jenkins connects with a massive shot to the dome!


Dillan is rocked!

Jenkins moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dillan has worked his arm free - good work by Dillan!
Dillan is still in real trouble! Can Jenkins finish him?

Jenkins looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Dillan sneaks back into half guard.
Dillan seems to have recovered his senses.
Dillan wants to control but Jenkins is keeping busy.
Dillan is concentrating on defense, preventing Jenkins from advancing position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jenkins wants to work for an arm triangle but Dillan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jenkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dillan gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Jenkins lands a head kick. Dillan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Dillan throws the left hand but Jenkins avoids the punch easily.

Dillan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jenkins to the mat! Jenkins manages to get full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dillan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jenkins works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jenkins has momentary wrist control but Dillan slips an elbow through the middle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jenkins shoots for a takedown but Dillan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jenkins shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jenkins moves forwards but Dillan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jenkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jenkins is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dillan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jenkins to the mat. Jenkins regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Max Dillan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Dillan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jenkins defends it easily.

Dillan wants to sweep but no luck.
Dillan throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Dillan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jenkins's guard.

Jenkins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dillan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jenkins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dillan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jenkins is tightening it up a little... Dillan has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dillan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dillan taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jenkins!
