Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Giri Essex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Marsden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Essex comes to the ring accompanied by Hypest Hype. Marsden has chosen I got 5 on it by Luniz as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsden fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Marsden shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Essex misses with a body shot

and Marsden counters with a shoot takedown. Essex fights it but they end up in guard.

Marsden drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Essex manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Marsden has Essex in his guard.
