The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Szczygielski finds it's way through Moreira's defenses.
Szczygielski throws a nice looking combination but Moreira bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Szczygielski counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Donk. Szczygielski catches Moreira right on the button with a cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Szczygielski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Moreira manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Moreira has eaten all the pies!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Moreira is looking for a triangle but Szczygielski pushes his legs off easily.
Szczygielski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We're going to have a standup here because Mieszko Szczygielski wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
A left lands for Szczygielski.

Szczygielski lands a left and a right that send Moreira crashing to the mat, dazed. Szczygielski thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Moreira is rocked!

It looks like Dudu Moreira has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Szczygielski throws a right and a left that Moreira avoids nicely.

Szczygielski cracks Moreira with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Moreira looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Szczygielski finish him?
Moreira is still on wobbly legs! Can Szczygielski finish him?
Moreira tries to clinch up
and Szczygielski counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Moreira has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
