And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takahashi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mack!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mack really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Takahashi thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Mack is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Mack sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Takahashi stops Mack from getting back to his feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Takahashi connects with a nice short shot to Mack's temple.

The fighters are battling for position here. Mack manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Mack has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Takahashi should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mack has tightened it up now! Takahashi should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Jeremy Mack thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
