Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman comes to the ring accompanied by Start from Scratch. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Billy Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Patrick Bateman!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman shoots for a double leg takedown but Bateman sprawls well. He's pushed Coleman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bateman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Coleman.
Bateman throws a series of punches but Coleman avoids them all with ease.
Bateman misses with a jab, cross combination.

It looks like Billy Coleman has been cut.

Coleman feints a jab promting Bateman to slip. Coleman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bateman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Coleman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bateman but Bateman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Coleman dives in and grabs Bateman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bateman pushes down on Coleman's head and hops out.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Coleman here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Coleman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bateman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bateman has escaped and now he's on top!
Bateman wants to get up but he can't break Coleman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Coleman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Coleman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bateman circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
