PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bolt Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Silversun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morris comes to the cage accompanied by MMMBop. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bolt Morris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastian Silversun!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silversun stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Silversun throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Morris.
Morris misses with a hook to the body
and Silversun counters with a nice body shot.
Morris ducks under a wild hook from Silversun.
Silversun jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Morris moves forwards but Silversun connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Silversun throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Morris sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Silversun lands a body shot.
Morris attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Morris shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Morris is trying to control. Silversun wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Morris moves into full mount! Silversun won't be happy about that!
Morris thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Silversun trying desperately to get to his feet.
Morris lands with some strikes.


It looks like Sebastian Silversun has been cut.
Morris controlling from the full mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Morris wants to control the pace but Silversun is squirming around nicely.
Silversun is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morris looking to control but Silversun is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Morris is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silversun can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silversun is bucking up trying to escape but Morris cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


The cut above Sebastian Silversun's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee warns Silversun that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


Sebastian Silversun's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sebastian Silversun's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bolt Morris!
A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Bolt Morris made sure he mentioned Conviction, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
