PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mr Azure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Concepcion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Concepcion's choice of entrance music: The Descent. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concepcion tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Azure manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A jab from Azure finds it's way through Concepcion's defenses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Azure. Concepcion does a little dance to reset his feet.

Concepcion moves into the clinch successfully.

Azure lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Concepcion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Azure sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Azure shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Concepcion napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Concepcion shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Concepcion tries to close the distance and clinch up but Azure swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Concepcion moves out of range of the body kick from Azure.
Azure lunges at Concepcion with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Concepcion's hand.
Concepcion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Azure but Azure pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Concepcion takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Azure's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
