Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Biff Biffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francesco Luongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luongo has chosen Alexisonfire - The Northern as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luongo looks to land a left hand but Biffman moved out of range nicely.

Biffman is looking to land body kicks.

Luongo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Biffman on his heels. He'll look to pass Biffman's guard now, I'm sure.

Luongo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Biffman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Luongo wants to work for an arm triangle but Biffman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Luongo in particular looking to stall.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Biffman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown by Luongo or perhaps it was just good defense by Biffman which made him look bad.

Luongo shoots in and bounces Biffman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Luongo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Luongo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Luongo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Biffman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
