Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake The Bulldog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Ishikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ishikawa has chosen mindshift genki sudo as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Akira Ishikawa!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishikawa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Bulldog tries to avoid it but Ishikawa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Bulldog to the ground. The Bulldog escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The Bulldog tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ishikawa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A chopping leg kick lands by The Bulldog.
The Bulldog lands a head kick. Ishikawa smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Akira Ishikawa has been cut.
Ishikawa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ishikawa closes the distance and clinches up with The Bulldog, looking for a takedown. Ishikawa pushes The Bulldog against the cage but The Bulldog circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jake The Bulldog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Ishikawa.

The Bulldog has had enough of the clinch but Ishikawa keeps him there for the moment.

Ishikawa is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Ishikawa extends the arm and The Bulldog is forced to tap!
