Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devon Berto Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenric Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Simply Ravishing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenric Kyle!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Berto Jr swivels and escapes.
Berto Jr lands a jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Berto Jr darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Kyle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Berto Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kyle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Berto Jr is just riding it out for now. Kyle eventually gives up the hold.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kyle lands a nice short elbow.

Berto Jr dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kyle. That did some damage!

Kyle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
