The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Pulkkinen throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Ricky Lee has been cut.

Pulkkinen drops Lee with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lee looks back up at him and smiles so Pulkkinen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The fighters circle momentarily. Pulkkinen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Pulkkinen takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses.
