Sobrawl comes to the ring accompanied by Eye of the Tiger. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soares defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sobrawl.
Sobrawl closes the distance and clinches up with Soares, looking for a takedown. Sobrawl pushes Soares against the ropes but Soares circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sobrawl fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Soares sprawls well initially but Sobrawl persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Soares is looking for a sweep. Sobrawl is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Soares looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Soares is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sobrawl pulls his head out easily.
Sobrawl passes to full mount!
Soares tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sobrawl wants to control the pace but Soares is squirming around nicely.

Soares tries to improve his position but Sobrawl has taken his back! Sobrawl has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Soares tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Sobrawl pushes Soares away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
