Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blaise Lamont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Nobriga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lamont might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Twisted Nerve. Nobriga comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Queen's We Will Rock You kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobriga throws a shot to the body.
Lamont throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Max Nobriga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lamont throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Nice uppercut lands for Lamont. That snapped Nobriga's head back.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Lamont changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nobriga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Nobriga is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nobriga lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
