Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Haigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Mulhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mulhall has chosen Gonna Fly Now as his entrance music. Peter Mulhall will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haigh misses with a hook. Mulhall ducked under it nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Haigh misses the target.
John Haigh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mulhall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Haigh was well out of range. Poor timing from Mulhall.
Mulhall misses with a double jab.
Haigh misses with an uppercut.
Haigh avoids a punch combination nicely.
A swing and a miss from Haigh.
Mulhall sizes up Haigh with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Haigh misses with a lunging right hand
and Mulhall counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Haigh slips a straight right by Mulhall.
Haigh misses with an uppercut
and Mulhall counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mulhall throws a nice looking combination but Haigh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Haigh swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mulhall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Haigh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Haigh is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Mulhall's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
A punch lands to the side of Mulhall 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Haigh jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mulhall misses with a jab, cross combination.
A telegraphed right hand from Haigh misses the target.
Haigh thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mulhall ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Haigh rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mulhall cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mulhall slips under a jab.
Haigh misses with a looping right.
Haigh is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mulhall.
Haigh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mulhall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Haigh throws out the jab.
Haigh connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mulhall momentarily.
Haigh lands a nice shot that snaps Mulhall's head back.
Haigh takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Mulhall is rocked!

It looks like Peter Mulhall has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mulhall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Haigh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mulhall is still on wobbly legs! Can Haigh finish him?
Mulhall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haigh circles away quickly and effectively.
A slow jab from Haigh misses its intended target.
Haigh goes for a small jab and connects. Now Haigh goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Mulhall stumbles back but Haigh runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Mulhall to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Mulhall will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
