Crowe comes to the cage accompanied by Angry Johnny & The Killbillies - Kill Again. Eli Crowe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Crowe!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Donnie Alto!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe throws a head kick that misses.
Alto takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


It looks like Donnie Alto has been cut.
Alto throws an overhand right that lands on Crowe's shoulder, as Crowe tries to avoid the shot.
A head kick misses from Alto.

Alto clinches up with Crowe and pushes him back against the cage.
Crowe doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Alto struggles to land a body shot inside as Crowe controls his hands.
Alto throws a head punch that misses.
Crowe lands with a right to the head.
Alto tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Alto manages to break the clinch.
Alto cracks the inside of Crowe's front leg.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crowe looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Crowe takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Alto scores with a nice strike.
Crowe misses with a low kick as Alto jumps back.
Alto lands a high kick!
Crunch! Crowe slams his shin into Alto's torso.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Alto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Alto gets a clinch.
Alto is looking to break free of the clinch but Crowe has double underhooks.
Alto leaning against his opponent.
Alto tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Crowe prevents a body shot from Alto.
Alto working hard to break the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Crowe creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Alto has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Alto tries to break the clinch but Crowe is controlling the position.
Crowe lands with a right to the head.
Crowe with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Alto goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Crowe using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Alto has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Alto lands with a left to the head.
Alto wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Crowe has him pressed against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crowe throws a knee to the head but misses.
Alto misses with a short punch on the inside.
Alto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Alto working hard to break the clinch.
Crowe throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Alto swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Alto misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Come on Crowe - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A knee to the head by Crowe.
Alto wants to break free but Crowe has control.
Crowe misses with an elbow over the top.
Crowe throws a knee to the head but misses.
Crowe lands a nice uppercut.
Alto is trying to break the clinch but Crowe has him pressed against the cage.

Alto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Alto misses with a wild combination.
Alto slips a straight right by Crowe.
Alto missing with a left hand there. Crowe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Crowe cracks Alto with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Crowe has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Alto to stand back up!


Alto is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Alto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Alto is still on wobbly legs! Can Crowe finish him?
Alto tries to break the clinch but Crowe is controlling the position.
Crowe has Alto pressed against the cage, preventing Alto from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Alto seems to have recovered his senses.
Crowe throws an elbow but it misses.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Crowe obliges.
Crowe keeps control of Alto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Alto tries to break free but Crowe pushes him back against the cage.
Crowe misses with an elbow over the top.
Alto is trying to push Crowe away but Crowe has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Alto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Alto is trying to stall.
Crowe lands an elbow just above Alto 's eye.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Alto tries to break the clinch but Crowe is controlling the position.
Alto misses with a hook to the ribs.
Crowe throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Alto blocks it with crossed arms.
Alto blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Crowe keeps control of Alto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Crowe lands a nice shot to the body.
Alto has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Alto breaks the clinch.
Nice shot by Alto.
Alto looks to land a combination. Crowe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Alto moves away from the strike by Crowe.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Crowe lands with a nice body punch.
Alto looks gassed!
Alto tries to bum rush Crowe with a series of wild strikes but Crowe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Crowe thows a body kick. Alto tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Crowe throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eli Crowe dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Donnie Alto's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Crowe scoring well with a low kick there.
Crowe is looking to land body kicks.
The fighters circling - Alto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Crowe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crowe misses with a hook.
Crowe works the jab nicely.
Crowe with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Crowe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alto.
Crowe cracks Alto with a hook to the temple - Alto is on wobbly legs here! Crowe swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Alto falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Crowe wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Eli Crowe!
Eli Crowe retains his light heavyweight title!
Eli Crowe bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
