The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baramari feints and then cracks Rubiera's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rubiera down.
A head kick misses from Rubiera.
Rubiera is trying hard to land a takedown here. Baramari sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Rubiera walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Baramari checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Rubiera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Baramari manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Baramari fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rubiera.

Rubiera looks up at the clock. Bad move! Baramari lands a right hand from hell, dropping Rubiera. Baramari pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

A relieved looking Bob Baramari thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
