The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pein tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lang sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pein somewhat.
Lang ducks under a wild hook from Pein.

Lang is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pein is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lang to the mat. Lang regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Pein might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Pein is in close to Lang's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Pein bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Max Pein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lang looks to land a left hand but Pein moved out of range nicely.
Lang throws a shot from downtown. Pein moves away and avoids it.

Lang might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
