Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Renato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock has chosen Sepultura - Roots Bloody Roots as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock tries to score a power double leg takedown but Renato sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shamrock somewhat.
Renato scores with a hook to the body. Shamrock takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Shamrock fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Renato lands a body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Renato darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shamrock shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shamrock working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Renato is adopting a defensive guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shamrock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Renato pulls Shamrock in close to prevent any damage.
Renato manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shamrock manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shamrock throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Renato working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Shamrock looking to hit a scissor sweep but Renato is one step ahead there.
Shamrock manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Renato tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shamrock lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Renato bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Shamrock is pulling down on Renato's head to control his posture.

Renato postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Renato wants to pass the guard but Shamrock is keeping the position.
Renato throws an elbow that misses. Shamrock uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Renato's guard. Nice move by Shamrock!
Shamrock cracks Renato with a solid left hand.
Shamrock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Shamrock trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Shamrock loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Renato wants to sweep but no luck.

Shamrock wants to pass the guard but Renato is keeping the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Renato digs a good hook to Shamrock's body.

Renato cracks Shamrock with an open hand slap.
Renato lands a high kick!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Renato's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Shamrock on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Shamrock is rocked!
Renato flashes Shamrock a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Shamrock's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Shamrock crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Renato punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
