The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cena is looking to clinch but Rackham is avoiding it.

Rackham tries to sprawl but Cena drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Cena prevents Rackham from standing back up.
Cena tries to stand and escape but Rackham is controlling the position.
Rackham wants to get back to his feet.
Cena is keen to just control but Rackham is a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by John Cena.
Rackham throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Rackham.
Rackham throws a right hand that Cena ducks under and follows up with a left that Cena also avoids with ease.
A punch combination from Rackham misses.

Rackham clinches.
Cena is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A frustrated look appears on Cena's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Rackham manages to break the clinch.

Rackham clinches with his opponent.

Cena successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rackham wants to stand but Cena has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Rackham throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Rackham stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Rackham scores with a shot to the body.
Cena looks gassed!

Cena has a takedown stuffed.

Rackham drops Cena with a beautiful combination! Cena stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rackham is looking for the KO!

It looks like John Cena has been cut.

Rackham clinches up against the cage.
Cena is still on wobbly legs! Can Rackham finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rackham has Cena pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Cena is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Rackham - that's hurt Cena badly! Oh, another knee lands and Cena is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Cena doesn't seem to be complaining.
