Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Hodgins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommie Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Don't Shoot Shotgun. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Gunn.
Hodgins misses with a wild combination.

Gunn pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Gunn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hodgins sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Hodgins is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gunn pulls his head out easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hodgins is trying to control but can't.

Gunn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hodgins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hodgins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gunn's waist but Gunn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hodgins off to one side.
Gunn lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

and Gunn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gunn.

Hodgins is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gunn can't fight it off and eventually Hodgins manages to take the fight to the floor. Gunn looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Gunn sizes up Hodgins with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Gunn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hodgins has time to react.
Gunn dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hodgins. That did some damage!

Oh Hodgins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hodgins gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Gunn gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
