Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zack Allan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Allan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to FLAMES. The crowd seem to be enjoying Dawkins's choice of entrance music: Prong - Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zack Allan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard Dawkins!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allan with a hook.

Allan pushes Dawkins up against the cage in a clinch.

Dawkins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dawkins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Dawkins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Allan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Allan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

You can see the frustration on Dawkins's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, if Allan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dawkins has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dawkins and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zack Allan.
