The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Chippa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chippa has managed to get both his arms back between Brown's legs - danger averted.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Chippa frees his head nicely. Oh but Brown has switched to an armbar! Chippa is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
