Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kirill Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Trombone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Iron Man. Trombone has chosen Back in Black by AC/DC as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trombone is looking to clinch but Petrov is avoiding it.
Trombone paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Petrov throws a good cross that connects.
Trombone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Trombone feints and then cracks Petrov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Petrov down.
Trombone throws a right and a left that Petrov avoids nicely.
Petrov drives through and clinches with Trombone against the cage.
Petrov tries to throw a body punch but Trombone avoids it by throwing Petrov back against the cage.
Petrov misses with a punch to the body.
Petrov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Petrov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Trombone wants to stand but Petrov is controlling his posture from full guard.
Petrov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Petrov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Trombone has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Petrov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Trombone is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Petrov pulls down on the head and he's put Trombone to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kirill Petrov!
