Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wasser Melone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and High Definition (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Definition looks to land a right hand but Melone moved out of range.
Definition throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Melone misses with a takedown attempt

and Definition counters with a single leg into guard. Melone didn't expect that.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Definition stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Melone misses with a low kick.

Definition rushes Melone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Definition jumps guard and drags Melone to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Definition manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Definition lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Melone is looking to improve his position but Definition isn't that keen on the idea.

Definition gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Melone prevents the takedown attempt.

Melone is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Definition can't fight it off and eventually Melone manages to take the fight to the floor. Definition looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Melone trying to control the position from guard on top but Definition is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Definition working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Melone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Melone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Melone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Definition has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Melone has managed to get both his arms back between Definition's legs - danger averted.
Melone wants to control from the top but Definition keeps moving.

Definition is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Melone is controlling him.
Definition really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Melone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Melone gets to his feet. Definition looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Definition throws a head kick that misses.
Definition misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Definition tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Melone manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Definition tries to pull guard but Melone holds him up against the cage and eventually Definition drops back down to his feet.

Melone wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wasser Melone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Definition unloads a knee to the mid-section. Melone lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Definition jumps guard and drags Melone to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Definition is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Definition utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Melone wants to pass the guard but Definition is keeping the position.

Definition uses the cage to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

High Definition dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Melone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Definition but Definition pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A head kick from Definition lands but Melone takes it in his stride.

It looks like Wasser Melone has been cut.

Definition closes the distance and clinches.

Definition tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Definition.

Definition ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Definition no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Melone has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Definition to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Melone is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Definition pulls down on the head and he's put Melone to sleep! This one is all over!
